
LONDON, ON – Two people have died following a multi-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in London that left eight others injured, two critically, according to
Global News.
Middlesex Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said the wreck occurred on Highbury Avenue between Ilderton Road and Ten Mile Road, in Middlesex Centre, shortly after 5:20 a.m.
Officials have not disclosed a sequence of events leading up to the collision, but three vehicles were involved and a total of 10 people were rushed to a local hospital, where two people have since succumbed to their injuries.
At the time of Global News' report, two of the eight survivors remain in critical condition.
A section of Highbury Avenue was expected to stay blocked until about 12:00 p.m. during the response and investigation, which remains underway.
