News: 2 left injured after hit-and-run involving ambulance in Toronto’s West End

TORONTO, ON – A hit-and-run collision involving an ambulance early Tuesday in Toronto's West End left two paramedics injured, reports Global News. The incident was reported at the intersection of Bloor Street and Dovercourt Road at about 3:30 a.m. Preliminary details show a vehicle crashed into an ambulance and a hydro pole before its occupants fled the scene on foot. While no patients were being transported in the ambulance at the time of the crash, two paramedics were hurt. According to a Toronto Paramedics spokesperson, one paramedic who suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries was transported to an area hospital. Another paramedic received medical attention at the scene. As of this writing, authorities have not released any descriptions of the fleeing suspects.
