VAUGHAN, ON - Three people were hospitalised Sunday night, May 19, following a multi-vehicle crash involving an impaired driving suspect in Vaughan, according to CTV News.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the scene on Highway 400 at Teston Road, at about 11:30 p.m.
Preliminary details indicate a 35-year-old Toronto resident was at fault in the accident, which sent three people to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The suspect, who was taken into custody, faces charges of "impaired driving, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle" and of having a blood alcohol level exceeding 80 milligrams.
Officials noted that his vehicle was also subjected to a seven-day impound, and that his licence is expected to be suspended for 90 days.
