BRAMPTON, ON - A multi-vehicle accident involving a fire truck and a tractor-trailer Monday morning, April 22, in Brampton left four people injured, according to CityNews Everywhere.
The wreck occurred in the area of Kennedy Road and Steeles Avenue. Peel Regional Police were dispatched to the scene shortly after 7:30 a.m.
While few details have been released, officials said a Brampton fire truck collided with a semi-truck. A third vehicle was said to have been involved, but it’s unclear what role it played.
First responders confirmed that four people were transported to an area hospital for injuries believed to be minor.
Crews had the intersection shut down for an extended time to accommodate the emergency response.
