
TORONTO, ON - Toronto police have arrested and charged a man from Mississauga in connection to a November 14th hit-and-run that claimed the life of a pedestrian.
According to
Toronto.com, a man was sleeping on the corner of Scott Street and Wellington Street at about 6:38 a.m. when a Ford Expedition jumped the curb and hit him.
The victim, a 57-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital a short time later.
The driver and vehicle fled the scene initially, but both were located later on in the day. Police arrested the driver, a 63-year-old Mississauga man, on Wednesday, December 6th and charged him with failure to stop causing death.
