
HAMILTON, ON – Authorities were called to a collision early Sunday that blocked a section of eastbound Highway 403 in southwest Hamilton, according to
511ONCentral.
The accident was reported at Highway 6 North, some time before 1:18 a.m., prompting an extended closure of all eastbound lanes in the area.
By 8:54 a.m., more than seven hours after the initial report, officials announced that the scene had been cleared, with all travel lanes restored to traffic.
As of this writing, no information regarding the circumstances of the event, including the parties and vehicles involved, has been made available. It's also unclear whether anyone was seriously injured or had to be transported to a hospital.
