BURLINGTON, ON - Ontario Provincial Police responded to a crash early Wednesday that closed a section of eastbound Highway 403 near Burlington, according to OPP GTA Traffic.
The accident was reported at exit 78 toward Waterdown Road, in an area west of Burlington and north of Hamilton. Officers arrived on the scene some time before 12:48 a.m.
Although no information regarding the cause of the wreck has been released, all eastbound lanes in the area were shut down for more than four hours.
By 5:07 a.m., crews had cleared the scene, leaving all lanes open to traffic.
