The accident impacted the left lane and left shoulder of the southbound ON-427 ramp to eastbound Gardiner Expressway, in the Etobicoke City Centre area. It was first reported shortly before 11:08 a.m.
While the lane and shoulder were briefly clear at around 11:22 a.m., the closure was not completely lifted until 11:35 a.m.
