TORONTO, ON - First responders in Etobicoke responded to the scene of a carjacking that led to a single-vehicle crash near Cloverdale Park on Monday evening.
According to a report by City News, a couple in a black Dodge Ram were driving on Dundas Street West at about 5:10 p.m. when they were stopped by two suspects in a pickup truck and a white sedan allegedly wearing police vests.
The victim was able to speed away down Dundas St., with the two suspects trailing behind, but crashed into a utility pole near the Shaver Avenue intersection.
Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported as a result of the incident. However, police are still working to identify the two carjacking suspects.
