TORONTO, ON - Three vehicles were involved in a collision Tuesday evening that blocked part of the Gardiner Expressway in Old Toronto, according to CityNews Everywhere.
The accident took place during the evening commute on the eastbound lanes at York Street, near the city's Harbourfront area. Toronto Police were dispatched to the scene shortly before 5:30 p.m.
Investigators have not shared any information regarding what caused the crash or what types of vehicles were involved, but a section of the eastbound highway remained closed for at least 3.5 hours.
By 9:00 p.m., all travel lanes were restored to traffic.
As of this writing, the conditions of those involved remain unclear.
