TORONTO, ON – Authorities were called to a vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon that shut down a Highway 404 collector ramp in Toronto's North York district, according to 511Ontario.
The accident was reported at 1:20 p.m. on the ramp connecting southbound Highway 404 with Don Valley Parkway.
A sequence of events leading up to the crash has not been disclosed, but all of the ramp's travel lanes remained blocked for over 3.5 hours, indicating a more involved emergency response.
By 5:05 p.m., the scene was announced cleared with all lanes restored to traffic.
It's unclear at this time what types of vehicles were involved and whether anyone was seriously injured.
