KITCHENER, ON – Emergency crews were called to a collision Monday morning on a Highway 8 exit ramp in Kitchener, according to OPP GTA Traffic. The accident impacted the ramp connecting northbound Highway 8 to Sportsworld Drive and was first reported some time before 10:52 a.m. No information about the circumstances of the event has been shared, but the ramp was shut down for over 5 hours following the initial report, suggesting a more involved emergency response. By 5:05 p.m., crews had removed the scene from the roadway and the ramp was reopened to normal traffic.
