TORONTO, ON - A driver was sent to the hospital last Friday after their vehicle careened into a traffic police in East Toronto, according to a Global News report.
The crash took place at about 8:19 a.m. when an SUV collided with a light post at the intersection of Kennedy Road and Eglinton Avenue. The impact knocked the post down, causing the traffic lights to deactivate.
The driver, whose identity is unclear at this time, was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No additional injuries were reported.
