TORONTO, ON – A 70-year-old man has died following a pedestrian crash Thursday evening on Jane Street in northwest Toronto, according to Global News.
Preliminary details indicate that the man was on foot when he entered a Jane Street crossing and was struck by a Toyota C-HR that was traveling southbound on the road.
First responders had the male pedestrian rushed to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries. The victim was later pronounced deceased.
While the driver remained at the scene following the crash, officials have not shared any other information regarding the exact sequence of events.
