MISSISSAUGA, ON - A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a pedestrian collision Thursday night in Mississauga, according to Global News.
The incident unfolded on a stretch of Dixie Road south of Britannia Road at about 10:35 p.m., prompting a response from Peel Regional Police and emergency crews.
The circumstances of the event remain under investigation, but officials confirmed the victim was struck by a vehicle, and that the driver stayed at the scene.
All southbound lanes of Dixie Road between Shawson and Aerowood drives were shut down during the response and investigation.
