BRAMPTON, ON - One person has died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle collision Sunday afternoon, April 14, on Hurontario Street in Brampton, reports CityNews Everywhere.
The incident was reported at the intersection with Wanless Drive, prompting a response from Peel police shortly before 3:00 p.m.
While an investigation remains underway, officials said a man, believed to be in his 50s, was operating a motorcycle when he was involved in a crash with a passenger car.
The rider, who suffered life-threatening injuries, was rushed to a local hospital but was later pronounced deceased.
No information about the other driver has been disclosed, but they remained at the scene following the accident.
The intersection was shut down for an extended time for the emergency response and initial investigation.
