
TORONTO, ON - A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday morning in a collision involving at least one other vehicle in west Toronto's Etobicoke district, according to Toronto Police Operations.
The accident occurred in the area of Martin Grove Road and Eglinton Avenue West, just east of the Highway 427 ramps. It was first reported some time before 5:04 a.m., when first responders had already transported the rider to an area hospital.
At this time, officials have not released any information about the circumstances of the crash, but all involved parties remained at the scene.
The intersection was shut down to accommodate an investigation, but by 7:45 a.m., more than 2.5 hours, the scene was cleared and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
