TORONTO, ON - A collision involving two vehicles in the East Gwillimbury area on Thursday afternoon claimed the life of a woman and left two others injured.
According to a City News report, a Volkswagen Tiguan and a BMW collided at the intersection of Green Lane East and 2nd Concession shortly before 2 p.m.
A passenger in the Volkswagen, an unidentified 65-year-old woman, was flown to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later. A 26-year-old passenger in the BMW was also hospitalized in serious condition.
Both drivers involved were treated for minor injuries.
