TORONTO, ON - At least one person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision on the Gardiner Expressway in southwest Toronto on Sunday afternoon.
According to a report by CP24, two vehicles collided shortly before 11 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the expressway near the Jameson Avenue overpass.
Officers confirmed at least one victim was hospitalized with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.
The circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, all lanes were shut down for some time afterward while first responders worked to assess any injuries and clear the scene, causing major traffic delays in the area.
All lanes have since reopened.
