
TORONTO, ON – A crash Wednesday evening blocked a right lane on Highway 401 near west Toronto, according to
OPP GTA Traffic.
The accident happened on the eastbound lanes west of the collector ramps at Kipling Avenue in the Etobicoke district. Ontario Provincial Police responded to the scene some time before 8:27 p.m.
Officials have not released a statement regarding the circumstances of the collision, but the right eastbound lane was closed for at least 80 minutes.
By 9:47 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway, leaving all travel lanes open to traffic.
No information regarding the involved parties or potential injuries has been disclosed.
