BURLINGTON, ON - A section of westbound Queen Elizabeth Way was closed Thursday night in Burlington following a crash, according to OPP GTA Traffic.
The accident happened at Exit 107 to Appleby Line toward Oakville and was first reported shortly before 11:27 p.m.
Officials did not immediately say what caused the crash or how many vehicles were impacted, but all Fort Erie-bound lanes were blocked for over 3 hours, suggesting a more involved emergency response.
By 2:56 a.m. the following morning, the scene had been cleared and all travel lanes were reopened to traffic.
No injuries have been confirmed as of this writing.
