MILTON, ON - One person lost their life as a result of a wrong-way collision Sunday, May 5, in Milton that left another person in life-threatening condition, according to OPP Highway Safety Division.
The fatal wreck unfolded on the eastbound lanes at Exit 312 to Guelph Line, in the city’s Campbellville area, east of Mississauga. Mississauga Ontario Provincial Police responded to the scene some time before 7:53 a.m.
No details about the cause or nature of the accident have been made available, but one person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
While officials have not confirmed the number of vehicles involved, first responders rushed another victim to a Toronto-area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
