TORONTO, ON - A driver was taken into custody following a crash near Marilyn Bell Park early Saturday that left three people injured, one seriously.
According to a
report by Global News, the driver lost control of their vehicle at about 3 a.m. on the Gardiner Expressway near the Jameson Avenue overpass.
Four occupants of the vehicle were hospitalized for injuries sustained in the wreck. One of whom, a 22-year-old, was transported with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
The 22-year-old driver, having been treated for injuries by paramedics, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. The specific charges they will be facing remain unclear at this time.
