TORONTO, ON – One person was hospitalized Tuesday evening after a rollover crash involving two vehicles on Highway 401 in Toronto's Etobicoke area, according to the Ontario Provincial Police Highway Safety Division.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes at Exit 354 to Dixon Road and was first reported by OPP officials at 3:10 p.m.
Preliminary details indicate an Audi and a BMW were involved, and at least one of the vehicles came to rest flipped onto its roof.
One driver was transported to an area hospital with unspecified injuries, and three left lanes were closed during the emergency response and initial investigation.
By 6:18 p.m., over three hours later, all lanes were reopened to traffic.
