TORONTO, ON - A vehicle collision early Monday evening, May 20, had part of eastbound Highway 401 blocked for over an hour in northeast Toronto, according to Trafficnet.ca.
The accident happened on the eastbound collector lanes at the Don Valley Parkway (Highway 404) and was first reported shortly before 5:08 p.m.
It was unclear whether anyone was seriously injured, but the incident prompted a response from at least two emergency vehicles.
Two right eastbound lanes remained closed for over an hour. At 6:17 p.m., officials announced that while the right lanes were no longer blocked, the left lane was closed to accommodate the crash clearance.
At 6:26 p.m., crews had cleared the scene and all lanes were reopened to the public.
