AURORA, ON – Sections of Highway 404 in Aurora were shut down last Friday morning following a collision, according to OPP GTA Traffic.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to the scene shortly before 6:02 a.m., when part of ON-404 between Bloomington Road and Vivian Road were initially reported closed.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash, but just after 6:30 a.m., all southbound lanes between Wellington Street and Bloomington Road were also shut down.
The southbound closure was lifted by 7:08 a.m., and by 7:54 a.m., all northbound lanes were reopened to traffic.
