TORONTO, ON – One person suffered injuries Wednesday evening when they were struck during a rollover crash involving a parked Toronto Police Service vehicle in Toronto's York district, according to
CityNews Everywhere.
The incident took place near Vaughan Road and St. Clair Avenue West, in the Wychwood neighbourhood, at about 5:34 p.m.
Authorities say a driver crashed their car into a parked TPS vehicle, which was then rolled and hit the pedestrian on a nearby sidewalk.
While the pedestrian suffered minor injuries, it was unclear whether the patient had to be taken to hospital.
Police did not immediately indicate whether the driver, who remained at the scene following the crash, is expected to be charged.
Part of Vaughan Road from St. Clair to Louis Avenue was blocked during the response and initial investigation.
