TORONTO, ON - A pedestrian was killed early Sunday when they were hit by a vehicle while crossing a highway in east Scarborough. According to CP24, the victim was crossing the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 near Kennedy Road at about 2:15 a.m. when they were hit by an oncoming vehicle. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the crash site. No further information on their identity is available at this time. The events leading up to the fatal crash remain unclear.
