David E. Preszler M.A., LL.B.
David graduated from McGill University in 2001 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 2002 with a Master of Arts in Political Science. David graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2007 and was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2008.
Since becoming a lawyer, David has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court of Ontario and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario on numerous occasions.
David is a staunch advocate who has built a reputation for handling the most complex personal injury cases. He acts as counsel for many other lawyers and is often retained on cases that other lawyers are unable to handle due to complexity and costs. He has most recently created a new legal precedent in Watters vs. Statefarm, which some doctors have commented on how it took “only 20 years for a decision on this major issue to be tackled”. Despite all the other personal injury lawyers in the province, David was the only lawyer that was willing to take on this issue and most importantly, he was entirely successful for his client.
David is also the managing partner of Preszler Law Firm LLP. He runs the articling and summer program and supervises 10 lawyers. His litigation practice is restricted to serious motor vehicle, wrongful death, slip and fall and long term disability claims.
