Evan Lay
Personal Injury Lawyer
Evan articled at Preszler Law and now works as an associate lawyer at the firm’s BC office. He was called to the BC bar in November, 2020. He completed a B.A. in History at Mount Allison University in New Brunswick, and attended Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, acquiring his JD degree in 2019. He regularly appears before the BC Supreme Court on both chambers applications and for trial.
In law school, Evan focused on litigation, courtroom advocacy, and trial practice. He also worked with the Dalhousie Legal Aid Society representing indigent clients in criminal defence, administrative law, and family law matters. He made appearances before the Nova Scotia Provincial Court, Nova Scotia Supreme Court, and administrative tribunals as a student.
