Q.
How much will I pay my lawyer for fees?
A. The fees will be charged
on a contingency fee basis. In other words, you will pay no
fees unless you receive a settlement or jury decision.
Q. How long will it take to
settle my case?
A. This answer depends on the complexity of your case and
who the defendant is. For most motor vehicle accidents, it
takes 1-2 years in order to achieve resolution. For a slip
and fall accident, it generally takes 1-1.5 years to resolve.
For a wrongful dismissal, it takes about 3 months to a year
to resolve.
Q. Do I have a strong case?
A. This is often the first question a client asks. The difficulty
in answering this question is that the answer depends on the
specific facts of your case. As a result, we will need to
talk with you directly before we can answer this question.

Q. How much will I get?
A. We may be able to give
you a range after we become familiar with your case but predicting
a specific amount is almost impossible. If your case is going
to be settled without a trial, at some point we will recommend
a figure that you can accept in settlement. The decision whether
to accept, is your decision and yours alone.
Q. Do you represent insurance
companies?
A. No, we do not act for insurance companies as we are completed
dedicated to representing victims of accidents.
Q. Will the Insurance Company
continue to pay medical bills after we settle the case?
A. Any future medical costs must be included in the settlement
with the insurance company. Once you have reached a settlement
and the money has been paid and you have signed a release,
you will receive no more payments.
Q. How much experience does
your firm have?
A. Over 48 years! |
