Julie Kern is a dedicated personal injury lawyer who brings both compassion and expertise to her legal practice. Since joining Preszler Injury Lawyers in 2018, she has been committed to guiding her clients through the most difficult time of their lives, ensuring they get fair compensation, understand their rights, and know how to navigate the legal process.
Julie’s approach is rooted in empathy and education- she understands that navigating the legal system can be overwhelming and works closely with her clients to demystify complex legal issues and advocate for their rights.
She earned her Bachelor of Laws with Honours from Kingston University London in 2011, where she served as an executive member of the University Law Association and as Student Liaison to the Law School Executive Board. Julie was also selected to represent the university at the International Mediation Competition.
Before transitioning into law, Julie worked in the film and theatre industry- an experience that sharpened her courtroom presence and ability to respond and adapt quickly under pressure.
Julie has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, and administrative tribunals, including the Licence Appeal Tribunal and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario. She also represents clients through private settlements and mediations.
In addition to her legal work, Julie is passionate about environmental advocacy. She currently serves on the Executive Board of Prime Earth, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing sustainability and environmental education.
